How to use an ALBA MP3 player on mac?

Today, I purchased an ALBA MP3 player from argos, however I cannot seem to charge it via the USB cable or transfer songs from iTunes to the file. I have tried to drag and drop but nothing gets played. I can't return it, so please any help? Thanks.
