Should we look back on our old poetry and revise it if required?
Beautiful flow. Such an unforced rhyme scheme sounds and reads beautifully. I think it is interesting that you questioned whether or not old pieces should be revised. In my opinion a poem is never truly finished. It can always be made stronger, more fluid, and more beautiful. It is not uncommon for published poets to look back on prior writings (that are published even!) and notice places where improvements can be made. Regardless of what the original may have consisted of, I'm guessing that these updates and revisions have reinforced it's literary potency. Very very very well done. Beautifully constructed. Never stop writing!
