I ask this question alot but I am hoping that I can find someone who has went through this?

I have had my period for a month now. It is really heavy right now I can go through a tampon in 2 hours. I have a pelvic ultrasound tomorrow and I have had blood work done and I am not anemic or anything. I have always had problems I would go 4-5 months with no period then I would get it and got back off for months now in the beginning of March I got my period and it still hasn't stopped it was normal at first then heavy then went back to normal until about 5 days ago it got heavy again, its really heavy and (Iknow its gross) but when I wipe its bright red. I am really scared that there is going to be something wrong and I will have to go through surgery or something. I really am scared of things like that. has anyone gone through this and can you tell me what happened. Has anyone had a hysterectomy? how safe is it..is it easy to die from or a normal procedure. Please help me out on this one
