What doents are required for school admission ?

I am from mumbai , I wish to know what doents required ,for my son (2 year ) as I wish to apply for him in any of play group and after that in any of good school for nursery , junior kg till SSC , I am only holding birth certificate of my son & no other doent as my wife & son name is not mentioned in ration card will that can make problem for school admission of my son , as I have every thing ration card , voter identity card , pan card , bank p book , my wife is only holding pan card & bank p book , but my son dont have any doent except only birth certoficate , what else doents will be required on my son name , please help me
